We use the information that you supply to provide a service for you. When you complete one of our forms, we only ask for the minimum amount of information necessary, clearly indicated by an * asterisk, in order to complete your request - for example, we can't send you a CD unless we have your address!
We monitor the viewing and traffic patterns of all visitors
to our website as general statistics, but no individual or personal details are
acquired without your knowledge. This statistical information is for internal
business and administrative purposes, which includes improving our website, but
no personal information is included.
We ask for your name and e-mail address so we know who provided the information and to obtain a mutually convenient, non-intrusive way of making contact. For placing an order, we need your credit card details and a delivery address. This information is collected through a Secure Sockets Layer connection, which protects your personal details from being intercepted. This is indicated by the presence of a padlock on the status bar at the bottom of the Internet Explorer window when the secure connection is active.
We also ask that visitors indicate how they came to visit our site for statistical and business reasons.
When you enter a contest or other promotional feature on our site, we will ask for your name, address and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify the winners. This information may be submitted to the company providing the competition but, where this is so, there will be the opportunity for you to request that your details are not passed on.
We may also use the information that we collect to notify
you about changes to our Web site or new services that we think you'll find of
value. If you would rather not receive such information please clear the
relevant box when submitting a form, or send an e-mail to
nomail@reflexcd.co.uk.
Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer's hard disk drive by your browser. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but can be configured to ask for confirmation or to ignore them. The only personal information that a cookie can contain is that which you supply, directly or indirectly; for example, by completing a form or by the cookie recording which pages you have visited. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
We use cookies for the purpose of tracking site usage and
to personalise our site for you, but we do not store your credit card
details.
Information is not stored on our server but sent directly to us through a closed e-mail system. Your details are collected through a Secure Sockets Layer transaction and are not exposed to the Internet. You can read more about security and certificates at the Thawte and Verisign web sites.
We may check your details when talking to you on the
telephone in order to verify that we are dealing with the right person. We do
follow security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which
you have given us, in order to prevent unauthorised access to personal details.
As a result we may request proof of identity before we are able to disclose such
information.
Reflex does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We may provide statistical data about buying and traffic patterns and related site information as noted above, in order to provide a better web site, but no personally identifying information is included.
By using our web site and completing our forms, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Reflex under the terms described in this document. If at some later date we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post such changes here so that you can be aware of what information we collect, how it is used and under what circumstances we might disclose it.
