THE RATIONALS - THE FAN CLUB ALBUM

Legendary in collector circles as one of the rarest 60s garage artefacts known to man - only two test pressing copies are confirmed to exist. Consisting of unreleased outtakes from the bands earliest sessions in 1965 and 1966, the longplayer was intended as a farewell "thank you" to the group's loyal fanbase by the band's producer and mentor Jeep Holland, when he parted with the Rationals in late 1968.

Save for one cut, this Big Beat vinyl reissue reprises the album's original tracklist and running order, and the fully illustrated sleeve comes with detailed liner notes.

THE RATIONALS - OUT ON THE FLOOR

RARE ALBUM VINYL REISSUES

For vinyl fans, Big Beat's Out On The Floor album collects the best material from The Rationals' mid-60s garage-soul heyday, including such signature tunes as Leavin' Here, Temptation's 'Bout To Get Me and their big regional hit, I Need You.

Mostly recorded at sessions in 1967 and 1968 and when this Michigan quartet was at the top of its game, the contents of this album have lain unreleased or un-reissued for years, and this long-awaited package finally gives The Rationals the vehicle they deserve.

METALLICA - RE-LOAD (45RPM / 180 gram)

As with all the previous vinyl releases from Metallica, this will be available in two packages: a two-disc gatefold package (532 991-8) for the 33.3 version, and a box for the four-disc, 180 gram, 45 RPM deluxe edition. All the music was half-speed mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood from the original analogue tapes to bring you the best audiophile quality.

The Deluxe Box set includes 4 x heavy 12" records in outer 300gsm sleeves with gloss varnish, box with glossy lamino, lyric sheet insert & belly band.

The debut solo album from The Killers' Brandon Flowers, produced by Stuart Price, Daniel Lanois and Brendan O'Brien - a 10-song collection that includes the first single, rousing, epic rocker Crossfire, out August 23rd.

Originally intended to be the start of a new Killers album, the songs were written by Flowers while on the road during eighteen months of touring for the band's acclaimed 2008 UK-million plus selling album, Day & Age. However, on return to their hometown of Vegas, the band collectively decided to take an extended break, the result of having spent nearly seven years straight touring the globe.

Not ready to put the songs he had written on hold, Flowers took to the band's studio, Battle Born, and started working with producer Stuart Price, who had helmed the production on Day & Age. Eventually he decided to invite his dream team of collaborators into the studio as well, a list that included producers Daniel Lanois and Brendan O'Brien, both of whom immediately joined the project, and musician Jenny Lewis, who contributes backing vocals to two of the ten tracks.
